The Honeywell UV Air Purifier - A Quality Name and Product

If you suffer from allergies and frequently end up ill, a Honeywell UV air purifier may be just what the doctor ordered. I got mine three years back and the carbon filter is what did it for me. I’m breathing clear and easy these days.

The UV/carbon filter combination finally did what other purifiers failed to accomplish. Pretty much all the airborne allergens and pathogens that were making life so hard for me are gone.

My Honeywell UV Air Purifier Has Done It!

My Honeywell UV air purifier was affordable and effective - could you ask for anything more? It killed or otherwise removed all the nasty stuff in the air that was upsetting my allergies. On top of this, it also kills airborne viruses and bacteria. Admittedly, this is just anecdotal evidence (aren’t all reviews?), but I haven’t been sick like I was before I got my Honeywell UV air purifier.

The greatest thing about my Honeywell UV air purifier is that I didn’t have to do anything to my heating or AC system. All you have to do is follow the instructions and put the purifier in your duct work and plug it in. That’s it!

What it does is use ultraviolet rays to get rid of airborne organic material that passes close to it. Placing it in a centralized location in your duct work (which is easily accessible) lets it be optimally effective.

One thing to note is that the purifier simply has to be somewhere where you can easily get to. This is because you will have to replace the UV bulb once a year or so. I just marked the day on my calendar and set a reminder on my cell phone. No biggie.

Another cool thing about the Honeywell UV air purifier I bought was how much it cost. It’s not a huge industrial strength unit running thousands of dollars, just a little household unit that cost me $200. Considering the results, I’m pretty darned happy!

I think most people that have allergies would agree that $200 is worth it to be free of allergic reactions within your own home and to also be put at ease regarding airborne bacteria and viruses that can make you ill. But maybe that’s just me. In my opinion, it was totally worth it and I consider it one of the best decisions I ever made for me and my family.
